 Everyone knows the Rubik's Cube, the most well known twisty puzzle ever. But twisty puzzles are not just Rubik's Cubes. Twisty Puzzles is a general term give to a type of puzzle that requires the puzzler to rotate or twist pieces to create the final solved puzzle. Here you will find 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 cubes as well as other shapes and sequential puzzles using twisty moves.

Bolaris Harmaa greyscale - 3D sliding ball puzzle
Difficulty Level 1/4 Easy (Age recommendation 6+)
Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the tones get lighter in each layer from the 'north pole' down to the 'south pole'.
The rectangular pieces can be slid around one triangular corner one-by-one. The frame consists of static (solid) triangular corners and the grooves between them. The rectangle parts slide easily in the grooves, one part at a time.

Bolaris Vastavari color - 3D sliding block puzzle around a ball
Difficulty Level 2/4 Medium
Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the colour tones are arranged light to dark. The complimentary colours are on the opposite sides of the ball, the light tones are around the white corner, and the dark tones are around the black corner.
The rectangular pieces can be slid around one triangular corner one-by-one. The frame consists of static (solid) triangular corners and the grooves between them. The rectangle parts slide easily in the grooves, one part at a time.

Bolaris Domino - 3D sliding sphere puzzle
Difficulty Level 3/4 Difficult
Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the rectangular pieces form a continuous chain of dominos around the ball. As in the game of Dominos the points value must be the same as the matched side on the adjacent piece.
The rectangular pieces can be slid around one triangular corner one-by-one. The frame consists of static (solid) triangular corners and the grooves between them. The rectangle parts slide easily in the grooves, one part at a time.

Bolaris Maailma world - 3D sliding globe puzzle
Special edition Earth From Space. Difficulty Level 3.5/4 Very Difficult.
Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the rectangular pieces form a vision of earth from outer space. The level of difficulty is higher because of the asymmetrical "face" pattern on the graphic.
The puzzle is the world seen from space, partially covered with clouds. Solving the puzzle requires the rectangular parts to be moved according to the continents, coasts lines and cloud patterns. An extra feature included: when the rectangular parts are slid around, some underwater and sub-continental landscapes are revealed. An object like this has never been made before, anywhere. The Earth image is printed on the plastic parts using special UV-inkjet printer, used in the mobile phone cover decoration production. This is durable and safe technology. The pieces of only four puzzles at a time are manually laid out on a specially designed frame, this ensures precise printing.
