Everyone knows the Rubik's Cube, the most well known twisty puzzle ever.  But twisty puzzles are not just Rubik's Cubes.  Twisty Puzzles is a general term give to a type of puzzle that requires the puzzler to rotate or twist pieces to create the final solved puzzle. Here you will find 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 cubes as well as other shapes and sequential puzzles using twisty moves.

	Jing's Pyramix Skewb twisty puzzle by Meffert	QTY:
	This puzzle was designed by Adam G. Cowan in 2009 and is part of the Pyraminx/Skewb family.  It looks a lot like a rounded version of a Pyraminx but it has the same number of pieces as a Skewb.  The Jing’s Pyraminx has only 4 corners, which are indeed connected to one another via the inner core but unlike the Pyraminx it also has 4 center pieces, and it is these that correspond to the other corners of the Skewb. 	Gear Cube amazing twisty puzzle by Meffert	QTY:
	Designed by Oskar van Deventer, and inspired by a gearing idea from Bram Cohen, the Gear Cube is a brand new concept in cube design using a full gear mechanism that requires twelve 90 degree turns to complete one rotation.   The Gear Cube was awarded Meffert's Puzzle of the Year for 2010. There are a number of challenges with this cube.  - First to make a cube with a solid colour on each face like you would with a regular Rubik's Cube.  - Another is getting the puzzle to a state where each face has only two colors (on opposite faces).  This is a bit harder, but achievable for many people.   - Hardest is solving the puzzle as a whole, which is still easier than the original Rubik’s Cube. 	Scramble Cube (Super Floppy Cube)	QTY:
	First there was the Floppy Cube.  Then came the Super Floppy Cube.  "The Scramble Cube"  is the new release name of the Super Floppy Cube in it's original Japanese packaging made by Gentosha Education.   It is clearly not a cube.  Rather it is a single 1x3x3 layer of a cube which does some very extraordinary moves.  The Super Floppy Cube was invented by Katsuhiko Okamoto and awarded "Puzzle of the Year" in the 2009 International Puzzle Design Competition winning both the Jury Grand Prize and the prestigious Puzzler's Choice Award.   Katsuhiko's development of the amazing new mechanism that enables the Void Cube to work was what also led him to be able to create the Floppy Cube and many more puzzles that have come since. The goal is to first scramble the 1x3x3 figure then restore all faces to a solid colour pattern like you would with the Rubik's Cube.

	Just like the Rubik's Cube but there's no centre cubes;  you can see straight through the cube from all axes.   Apart from being a great puzzle it's also an engineering marvel.  Just how can it turn with no centre mechanism?   Designer Katsuhiko Okamoto came up with an entirely different mechanism from a regular Rubik's Cube because with no centre there is no central spider for turning the cube. Could it be harder than the Rubik's Cube?  Yes, it definitely is.  In some cases it will appear that there is no solution to this cube.  It is a second puzzle to figure out why this happens.   The goal is the same as the regular Rubik's Cube.  Scramble the cube and then restore all faces to a solid colour. Designer Katsuhiko Okamoto of Japan won the Jury Grand Prize at the 2007 International Puzzle Design Competition.   Katsuhiko came up with an entirely different mechanism from a regular Rubik's Cube because with no centre there is no central spider for turning the cube.

	Stainless Steel Cube twisty puzzle	QTY:
	The puzzle is to return the 3 x 3 cube to its original state... every side finally having a solid pattern. This very classy makeover of the Rubik's Cube puzzle gives the icon of the 1980's a modern look with it's stainless steel fabrication.   Each side uses stylised etched patterns to represent the six differently coloured sides.  It is well made so that it turns very smoothly and is presented on a highly polished stainless steel cube stand for display.  The rubik cube itself is the same size as the original Rubik's Cube.

	Six coloured balls.  Three transparent spheres.  Only one solution. The challenge is to start with all six balls inside the centre sphere with the locking rings open and move the balls into their matching coloured domes on the outside sphere. This is not the Magic 360 but rather the genuine Rubik's 360 puzzle.  In general this is a much high quality puzzle.  Unlike the non-genuine Rubik's puzzle the spheres cannot be taken apart;  they turn very smoothly and are weighted to make the puzzle much more difficult.

	Difficulty Level 1/4 Easy (Age recommendation 6+) Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the tones get lighter in each layer from the 'north pole' down to the 'south pole'.

	Difficulty Level 2/4 Medium Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the colour tones are arranged light to dark.  The complimentary colours are on the opposite sides of the ball, the light tones are around the white corner, and the dark tones are around the black corner.

	Bolaris Domino - 3D sliding sphere puzzle	QTY:
	Difficulty Level 3/4 Difficult Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the rectangular pieces form a continuous chain of dominos around the ball.  As in the game of Dominos the points value must be the same as the matched side on the adjacent piece.

Once all the pieces have been scrambled to solve the puzzle slide the pieces around until the rectangular pieces form a vision of earth from outer space.  The level of difficulty is higher because of the asymmetrical "face" pattern on the graphic.
