Oskar's Free the Key maze Oskar's Free the Key maze

QTY:

The object of the puzzle is to insert the key in the keyhole and put it on all the way up to the handle of the key.  And then take it off again.
Some of the teeth on the key are too tall to go though the slits in the disk.  So you may have to turn the key (or the disk) and move the disk up and down the key to navigate the maze to do this.
The puzzle was invented by Oskar van Deventer.

Star and Snake disentanglement puzzle Star and Snake disentanglement puzzle

The puzzle is to separate the star from the snake.  Once done you'll then have the challenge (some say even harder) to put the star back in the snake loop.  It looks like it should not be too hard to do so definitely a puzzle to pass around.
This puzzle was one of the first cast metal puzzles ever made.  It was seen in Stanyon's 1905 Novelties Catalog under the name "Star and Garter Puzzle".

Tower of Hanoi n-ary puzzle Tower of Hanoi n-ary puzzle

QTY:

The objective of the puzzle is to move the entire stack of disks and the ball on top to another rod, obeying the following simple rules:
1.Only one disk may be moved at a time.
2.Each move consists of taking the upper disk from one of the stacks and placing it on top of another stack.
3.No disk may be placed on top of a smaller disk or the ball.

Mathematically this is a type of "n-ary" puzzle meaning each move has "n" number of state - in this case 2 states being binary.  Read more about n-ary puzzles and see others we have here.
