True bonds has always been hard to form, but once formed such bonds are eternal and hard to break. The inventor Uyematsu says that his original version was created with this image in his mind, but the puzzle was completed into a cast puzzle with a bond that is truly difficult to unravel. How would you go about breaking and forming this bond? There are two approaches to this puzzle and we challenge you to both! Difficulty Level 6 The key work here is "antlers". Can you free the antlers.... and then put them back together again? Difficulty Level 5 This puzzle is one of these rare puzzles revived in it's new form. The key of the puzzle is decisively navigating its labyrinth, in which exists one point of weakness for you to break through. For the indecisive part of you! Difficulty Level 6 There are two goals to the Cast Nutcase created by the Dutch puzzle inventor, Oskar van Deventner. Difficulty Level 5 The object of this brilliant cast metal puzzle is to take the two interlocked loops apart and take them out of the surrounding planet like structure, then get the puzzle back together again. The puzzle was designed for Hanayama by Oskar van Deventner of The Netherlands and released in 2008. Difficulty Level 1 Can you take it apart? Can you assemble it again? Getting the two parts of the loop back together again will be much trickier than you might think. The puzzle comes on a leather thong so that you can use is as a pendant – it certainly makes a baffling piece of jewellery. Created by the young Finnish puzzle designer Vesa Timonen. The key word is "Synthesis". Difficulty Level 4 The puzzle is to separate the four pieces from each other then put them back together again. Four pieces of the same shape are loosely interlocked to make the puzzle. The pieces fit loosely together and it seems they should be easy to take apart. Difficulty Level 5 Can you take the three pieces of the puzzle apart? Can you get the puzzle back together again? There are three interwoven pieces to the puzzle. Can you separate each piece of the puzzle? Difficulty Level 3 It may appear to be a box like lump with a hole in the middle but it's really two coiled up, virtually identical pieces. The challenge is to take the two pieces apart by sliding and rotating them. Difficulty Level 5 The puzzles is to try to separate the two H's that are locked together. Difficulty Level 4 This puzzle has such a beautiful shape that it could easily be mistaken for a piece of jewelry. Difficulty Level 2 Two ancient looking medals engraved with a flowing river and a swimming salmon. Difficulty Level 4 The puzzle is to separate the 4 pieces of the two rings. Even though these are just new we still offer them as part of our discounted sets of 6 or 12 Hanayama puzzles. Difficulty Level 6 Can you separate the three links of the chain and then get it back together again? Difficulty Level 5 Can you separate the five pieces of the 3D jigsaw and then get them back together again? Difficulty Level 5 Can you separate the 'Adam' and 'Eve' loops from the heart? Difficulty Level 6 The three pieces of this puzzle just slide apart, you don't need to force them. Can you work out the twisting movement required to achieve this and to then get them back together again? Difficulty Level 4 The puzzle is to separate the two pieces fashioned after the image of intertwining Bach melodies. Difficulty Level 2 This puzzle, utilising pieces resembling equipment used in the sport of cricket, can be traced back to a puzzle patented in England back in 1898. The world's only remaining original version of this puzzle is part of the personal collection of James Dalgety in England. Difficulty Level 6 The object is to separate the two parts - N E W S. The level of difficulty is very high because it's very difficult to work out the solution to the puzzle. Once done the puzzle is not difficult to memorise. Difficulty Level 5 The five separate rings can be taken apart and put back together again to form a very large ring. The ring is a puzzle, not meant to be worn as jewellery. The diameter is 30mm. Difficulty Level 4 Difficulty Level 3 This cube is actually a maze from which you have to remove the segment of a sphere. The segment inside can be moved around but how to find the 14 set moves, in order, to remove it from the cube? There are many reviewers, including Rik van Grol writing in CFF Magazine, who believe this puzzle warrants a rating even higher than Level 3 out of 6. Difficulty Level 4 The puzzle is to try to get the three pieces apart and then back together again. To the people at Hanayama it looked like a strange adornment weaved into a "coiffure" design. Difficulty Level 5 At first glance it looks like there is only one ring hanging from the grid but there are in fact two rings attached with a magnetic force. Can you separate the rings from the grid and return them to their original positions? The object is to slide the photos around until you can get the overall picture! At first glance this puzzle appears to be an impossible object. In puzzle terms, an impossible object is a puzzle that will not come apart or looks physically impossible to make. For this type of puzzle, the puzzle is to determine how it was made in the first place. The Puzzle Sticks is NOT an impossible object. It will come apart without the use of force. Strategically placed magnets will either pull the puzzle pieces together or force them apart. The puzzle has the same 7 pieces as originally designed by Danish poet and writer Piet Hein in 1936.
