Don't dismiss level 1 puzzles like the Hook or the Loop out of hand as without challenge. And level 4 metal puzzles like Marble have taken experienced puzzlers hours to master. Difficulty Level 5 The puzzle is to take the ring off the cast metal flower. If you can do it then you must try to put it back on again. The grooves engraved in the two rotating boards are called "logarithmic spirals." These two grooves always cross at right angles, and a square hole is formed at their intersection. The goal of this puzzle is to remove the helix ring that goes through that hole. Price:

Difficulty Level 1 The two entangled pieces are exactly the same in shape and very simple. They look like hooks used to hang things. The pieces can be separated and connected, in a fascinating and magical series of movements. This puzzle is not particularly difficult being rated at level 1 out of 6 but the solution is all the more elegant for it's simplicity. Difficulty Level 4 The puzzle is to separate the two pieces fashioned after the image of intertwining Bach melodies. At first glance this puzzle may seem similar to the interloced nail puzzles.... Beware, it's nothing like it. With this puzzle almost every surface of each of the two pieces needs to touch every surface of the other piece to get them apart. Quite some manouvering involved. Difficulty Level 6 Can you separate the three links of the chain and then get it back together again? Price:
Difficulty Level 4 The puzzle is to try to get the three pieces apart and then back together again. To the people at Hanayama it looked like a strange adornment weaved into a "coiffure" design. Price:
Difficulty Level 2 This puzzle, utilising pieces resembling equipment used in the sport of cricket, can be traced back to a puzzle patented in England back in 1898. The world's only remaining original version of this puzzle is part of the personal collection of James Dalgety in England. Price:
Difficulty Level 3 This cube is actually a maze from which you have to remove the segment of a sphere. The segment inside can be moved around but how to find the 14 set moves, in order, to remove it from the cube? There are many reviewers, including Rik van Grol writing in CFF Magazine, who believe this puzzle warrants a rating even higher than Level 3 out of 6. Price:
Difficulty Level 5 At first glance it looks like there is only one ring hanging from the grid but there are in fact two rings attached with a magnetic force. Can you separate the rings from the grid and return them to their original positions? Price:
Difficulty Level 6 The key work here is "antlers". Can you free the antlers.... and then put them back together again? Price:
Difficulty Level 6 The three pieces of this puzzle just slide apart, you don't need to force them. Can you work out the twisting movement required to achieve this and to then get them back together again? Price:
Difficulty Level 5 The object of this brilliant cast metal puzzle is to take the two interlocked loops apart and take them out of the surrounding planet like structure, then get the puzzle back together again. The puzzle was designed for Hanayama by Oskar van Deventner of The Netherlands and released in 2008. Price:

Difficulty Level 1 Can you take it apart? Can you assemble it again? Getting the two parts of the loop back together again will be much trickier than you might think. The puzzle comes on a leather thong so that you can use is as a pendant – it certainly makes a baffling piece of jewellery. Created by the young Finnish puzzle designer Vesa Timonen.
