This puzzle was designed by Adam G. Cowan in 2009 and is part of the Pyraminx/Skewb family. It looks a lot like a rounded version of a Pyraminx but it has the same number of pieces as a Skewb. The Jing’s Pyraminx has only 4 corners, which are indeed connected to one another via the inner core but unlike the Pyraminx it also has 4 center pieces, and it is these that correspond to the other corners of the Skewb.

Difficulty 5+/5 It's difficult to know if this puzzle should be called a two piece or a four piece puzzle. But it's definitely two; even though it looks like a couple of pieces from other Vinco puzzles have got tangled together... (see one of the pieces below) With these two pieces it is possible to lock them together and make a solid, symmetrical shape.

The object of the Solitaire puzzle, often known as Peg Solitaire to distinguish it from the card game also called Solitaire, is to remove the balls one after the other by jumping horizontally or vertically over another ball. In the end one ball should be left in the centre hole. Just having one marble left is a challenge but it's extra difficult to have one left in the middle.

When Itgel asked his father to design and make a puzzle to present at the Edward Hordern Exchange event at IPP29 the question was "What is San Francisco well known for?" Itgel immediately said Cable Car however Mr Tumen-Ulzii had never seen one (certainly there are no Cable Cars in Mongolia). He designed and made this very complex take-apart 13 piece puzzle in the shape of a cable car from just a photograph.

When all 9 cats are fitted in the frame correctly there is a surprising amount of space and movement possible so no force is required to place them in.

The puzzle is to assemble the 6 pieces so that you make what looks like a framed burr. The Vice comes in two pieces and then the 4 other pieces intersect in two directions through it. We've presented the puzzle disassembled which raises the difficulty level. Whilst at the same time being just 6 pieces the challenge to solve is not unrealistic. Nevertheless it will be hard to do without resorting to the solution.
