MongoliaMuseum.jpgThis range of puzzles is designed and made in Mongolia in the workshops of Mr Tumen-Ulzii at his Puzzle Museum in Ulaanbaatar.  The puzzles are handmade and handpainted.

Yes - there really is a Puzzle Museum there.  In fact until recently it's been the only museum dedicated to puzzle in the WORLD.  The Tumen-Ulzii family opened the museum to the public on 13 August 1990.

Mr Tumen-Ulzii is a prolific puzzle designer and puzzle maker.   In his museum he exhibits more than 11,000 puzzles, most of them he has designed and made himself.  The museum also has a wonderful collection of other Mongolian toys and chess sets that Mr Tumen-Ulzii has designed and made.   In fact, he has even made puzzle chess sets where each piece is a puzzle.
