Fuji 1707 take apart puzzle

Edward Hordern IPP Puzzle Exchange  - Osaka, Japan  July 2010
Presented by Brian Young.  Made by Brian Young @ Mr Puzzle Australia.  Designed by Brian Young.

The object of the puzzle is to get Mt Fuji to blow it's top and find the Buddha of All-Illuminating Wisdom, the Dainichi Nyorai.
One of Brian's favourite types of puzzles is this progressive discovery type puzzle.  Although not as many steps as the SEARious burr or others he may have designed this puzzle still presents a very unusual solution.

Since IPP30 in Japan Brian has taken a fresh look at this puzzle and he has now done a small modification and this should eliminate accidental solutions and incorrect reassemblies.

Mt Fuji is made from  Papua New Guinean Rosewood and it's snow capped peak is made from Queensland Silver Ash.
Size: Diameter of Mt Fuji is 85mm. Height 45mm.

The last time Mt Fuji blew it's top was 1707.  Brian and Sue from Mr Puzzle were glad that 2010 was not the year for it's next eruption when they decided to climb to the top after IPP.
