Shifting Sand tricky puzzle

Shifting Sand tricky puzzle

The object of the puzzle is to move the ball bearing from one end of the sealed perspex tube to the other.  The tube is half filled with sand and there must be no sand between the ball bearing and the end of the tube at the start or the finish.

This puzzle has been in Brian's collection for quite a while but he did not realise it's uniqueness until recently when a number of other collectors had commented that they had not seen it before. Engrossing and amusing... great fun to share.

Note:  The ball bearing is sealed inside the tube with the sand.  With wear it can become pitted and show a little rust scale on the surface.

Size - Tube is 210mm long with a diameter of 20mm.
