Pandora's Box - Standard range wooden puzzle DIFFICULTY RATING 7 The puzzle is to remove the four pieces from inside the box. Tadao Muroi  (since deceased)  designed this framed burr in Japan in the early 1990s and it is with the kind permission of his son we are allowed to make this puzzle.  The puzzle requires twelve sliding moves to remove the pieces from inside the box. The real puzzle may turn out to be how to get them back inside the box again using these 12 moves,  although there are other combinations. Size 87mm x 87mm x 60mm This puzzle is featured in Allan J Boardman's new book "Puzzle Projects for Woodworkers" available here. Note from Brian Young (alias Mr Puzzle and maker of Pandora's Box puzzle) "The book credits the design of this puzzle to me.  This is an error.  The puzzle was definitely designed by Mr Muroi and for the privilege of making this wonderful design we pay royalties to his family in Japan."
