P Burr unique solution level 18.2 burr Assembled

P Burr unique solution level 18.2 burr Assembled

Edward Hordern IPP Puzzle Exchange - Narita, Japan  August 2013
Presented by Grant Smith.  Designed by Junichi Yananose.  Made by Mr Puzzle.

This puzzle was invented in September 2011 by Junichi Yananose.   It has 6 different pieces and is a unique level 18.2 burr.  With only 6 pieces this means that on average each piece has got to move 3 times to assemble it into the correct shape.  The Coming of Age MkII had 18 pieces and was a level 19 burr;  at the time it was invented it was the most moves for a burr puzzle.  This shows just how far burrs have come in the past 10 years or so.  To top it off this puzzle has a unique solution too!

Our Rating 10/10 from the disassembled puzzle (without using BurrTools). The puzzle comes with a very clear step by step solution drawn by Junichi.

The puzzle is made from Queensland Silver Ash & Queensland Blackbean
Size:  80mm x 80mm x 80mm

You are choosing to receive the puzzle assembled.  Good value considering he's just spent the last hour putting only 4 together WITH the solution.  Let's hope he gets better at it!
You may have the puzzle for $3 less if you want to assemble it yourself.  Quite a challenge though!  Click here to buy.  Never the less, this puzzle is a significant challenge even just to take apart.
