Hexagonal prism tower puzzle The puzzle is to assemble the 12 pieces, each made from 3 rhombic prisms, into the hexagonal tower.   This puzzle was invented by Toshiaki Bestumiya. The first time Brian (alias Mr Puzzle) played with this puzzle he was on a river boat on the Yangstee River in China.  Many locals and tourists alike tried but failed to do the puzzle over many hours.  Language barriers were overcome by laughter when two small children asked their parents why the tourists were playing for so long with children's toys!
