Mr Puzzle - We've got puzzles! Puzzles by Maker > Hanayama - Japanese cast metal puzzles Price: Difficulty Level 3 This cube is actually a maze from which you have to remove the segment of a sphere. The segment inside can be moved around but how to find the 14 set moves, in order, to remove it from the cube? There are many reviewers, including Rik van Grol writing in CFF Magazine, who believe this puzzle warrants a rating even higher than Level 3 out of 6. The puzzle was invented by the prolific Dutch designer Oskar van Deventer and originally called The Wanderer but not many pieces in it's original wooden version were ever made. Click here to see a photo of The Wanderer. He has designed all sorts of puzzles but it could be said that interesting mazes are his specialty. However, following a suggestion from the late Nob Yoshigahara the furthermost position was made to resemble a face, and a clear removal start point was thereby designated. Puzzle theme: Space. Size: Presented in a view window box which is 75mm x 115mm x 45mm Each side of the cube is 37mm. Hanayama puzzles come packaged with a printed solution. Not offered as standard by other sellers.
