Krbana

Edward Hordern Puzzle Exchange  - Gold Coast, Australia, August 2007
Presented by Václav Obšívac.  Made by Václav Obšívac.  Designed by Václav Obšívac.

Difficulty 4/5

The puzzle is to take the box apart and get the wooden ball out.  There are three identical pieces.  Beware, if you take it completely apart you will have to get it back together again.

The name of the puzzle Krbana is an old word used in the region of Czech Republic where Vinco lives for an "old box which used to used for some different not-needed things". The word is no longer commonly used and is even unknown to many Czech people. Vinco likes this word because it has the typical sound of the Frenstat region.

Size: 48mm x 48mm x
Vinco collects many trees in his local area to create these puzzles including acacia, ash, beech, cherry, elm, larch, maple, oak, pear, plum and walnut.  Timber variety may vary from puzzle to puzzle unless otherwise specified.  The puzzles are unsealed showcasing the natural colour and texture of the timber.

Here's Vinco enjoying the puzzling sights of the Gold Coast during IPP27.
