This is a set of 3 classic difficult wooden puzzles presented in a wooden gift box.
Six piece burr - This six block burr has a solid piece which locks it together. The earliest known example of this puzzle was being sold as The Small Devil's Hoof in the Mathematical Amusements section of Catel's catalogue published in Berlin in 1790 & 1793. It's a classic and must be a part of any comprehensive range of puzzles.
Six piece pyramid of balls - The puzzle is to build a pyramid. This puzzle was first designed by Piet Hein of Denmark as the Pyramystery puzzle. We have also included a sheet that has other shapes to build, including two smaller pyramids. So now you have 10 puzzles in one. A solution to all 10 is also included.
Twelve piece cube with corners cut - Fashioned after the "Kumiki" style of puzzles that have been make in Japan for many decades this cube puzzle has been well known to puzzlers around the world for years and never goes out of puzzle fashion. Quite a challenge to build.
The puzzles are made to a budget and a little loose fitting but it's a great chance to get three different types of difficult puzzles at a bargain price.
