The puzzle is to build a larger cube from the length of 27 smaller cubes. The 27 smaller cubes are arranged on an elastic rope to look like a snake; hence the name Snake Cube but it's sometimes also known as the Chain Cube or the Elastic Cube.
It takes a complex set of moves - bending, placing and stacking the smaller cubes on top of one another to create a single solid cube shape. For more information this puzzle has it's own Wikipedia page.
