Fuji 1707 take apart puzzle
19 July 2010Edward Hordern IPP30 Puzzle Exchange – Osaka, Japan. July 2010. 170 made. Presented by Brian Young. Made by Mr Puzzle Australia. Designed by Brian Young.…
The puzzle is to separate the three pieces and put them back together again. When the pieces are lined up just right and you get the movement correct they will slide apart very smoothly. Could the clue be in the name? Perhaps the fact that it was designed by Vesa Timonen is a clue in itself; Hanayama collectors know his work well and know that he loves simple and symmetric movements.
Mid-range difficulty so everyone will be game to have a go. Smaller size so you can take it in your pocket with you wherever you go.
This is the 10th puzzle that Vesa Timonen from Finland has designed for Hanayama.
