9 piece wooden Dice Cube puzzle

Quick Overview

Just figuring out how to pack the 9 pieces into the wooden box can be a bit of a conundrum. But the real challenge is to make the cube with regular dice faces so the dots are arranged 1 to 6 on each face just like a dice. Once with red dots on the faces. And then with only green dots on the faces.

There are 9 wooden pieces that can turn into 3 different cube challenges and one of them is particularly hard!

First try the easy one and assemble the cube any way you can, regardless of where the coloured dots are, as long as it's a cube and as long as it fits inside the wooden box.
Then try to reassemble the cube with the regular 1-6 dice pattern (opposite sides of the cube must add up to 7) with only red dots showing. All the green dots will be hidden inside the cube.
Then try the same but hide the red dots inside the puzzle so none show on the outer cube and the dice pattern has only green dots showing. This last one seems much, much harder to do!

Sometimes this puzzle is referred to as the Domino Cube but we have no idea why because the puzzle is all about making a cube with standard dice faces.

The puzzle is presented in its own wooden box with a base. When assembled as a cube all the pieces can fit inside the box.

Size: 72mm x 72mm x 72mm
Shrink wrapped with solution to three puzzles enclosed.

The puzzle is made from Suar wood (aka Monkey Pod wood). It's a fast growing plantation grown tree making it an environmentally friendly choice. And as an added bonus the seeds make a very nutritious snack for wildlife in the area.
