Ghost Cube shapeshifting cube puzzle

Quick Overview

A frustratingly different take on the classic 3x3 Cube. This cube changes its shape as you turn it. Instead of turning to get each side back to a solid colour you need to turn to get it back into it's original cube shape.

Your challenge is to scramble the puzzle and return it to it's cube shape. The cut pattern is very strange and each piece is a different shape, so it's easy to understand why the Ghost Cube is notoriously difficult to solve.  In fact it's considered one of the hardest 3x3 modifications out there.

But don't despair just yet. Unlike the Pocket Cube, surprisingly your knowledge of solving a regular Rubik's 3x3 will be of some help when you try to solve this one so why not give it a go.

The first Ghost Cube was invented by Adam G. Cowan in 2008 and since then they've been developed in many different sizes but all come back to the basic principle that once scrambled the various different turning axis change the shape entirely. Solving the puzzle does not involve returning all the faces to the correct colour or pattern but rather to get the puzzle back into the cube shape.

This cube is white on a black background and has both Meffert logo and Adam's signature on it.

Size: 60mm x 60mm x 60mm
