Description
A trick opening puzzle that Wil has made some years back has not been available for sale since 2013.
How to open the apple and retrieve the plain metal ring inside? Original Wil Strijbos design with his signature engraved inside.
This is one of the not so difficult take apart puzzles that Wil likes to make. Elegant. Ingenious.
Enjoyable to solve.
Choose from: Red or Green anodized aluminium. The Red apple has a smaller plain steel ring inside it. The Green apple has a larger plain steel ring inside.
It is possible to replace the plain metal ring with perhaps a special ring to present to your girlfriend. In Wil’s words to me “I think the Apple is now also a nice object to present your girlfriend a nice present, and to put a special ring inside that fits to the woman you be in love with, or just adore.”
The puzzles are exactly the same puzzle and dimensions and so the pieces of the red and green puzzles are interchangeable.
Size: The diameter of the apple is 34mm and it stands 30mm high without the stem. The puzzles are boxed in a funky psychedelic apple theme box.
Like all Wil’s puzzles, they are very precisely made from anodized aluminium. Wil’s signature is engraved on the inside of the puzzle.
No pictures are shown of the inside of the puzzle because that would give some clues about how to open it.
Wil is a true puzzle solver and has the philosophical view that puzzles should not come with solution sheets. So, if you purchase one of these puzzles there will be no solution supplied.

The puzzle is an inch in diameter and can be solved in seconds. Save your money.

Yes they are small but still satisfying to solve. They are good for friends to be able to figure out. They add color to the Wil Strijbos collection!

It is just lovely to own these puzzles and have them as part of my ever expanding Wil Strijbos stable.
Yes, they might not be his most tricky puzzles, but gee whizz, they are red and green and you can mix and match.
Great for hiding a smallish toroidal aurous object that you might want to gift to a significant other.
Think of the as a Wil Strijbos amuse-bouche to get novice puzzlers into the mood prior to tackling the Pachinko Box.
