Description
Edward Hordern Puzzle Exchange – Paris, France, August 2017.
Presented by Abel Garcia. Made by Václav Obšívac. Designed by Václav Obšívac.
Difficulty 5+/5 on Vinco’s scale.
There are 12 very odd-shaped pieces which make a 3x2x2 rectangular cuboid inside the nicely presented wooden box. There are fixed shapes glued to the walls inside the box that you will need to work around to assemble the puzzle. These obstacles make restrictions inside the box that add to the difficulty, so all in all an incredibly difficult puzzle to complete.
It’s impossible to cheat with this one because the pieces are not assembled in the box when it comes to you. And remember the finished puzzle must not have any pieces sticking up outside the wooden box!
Size: 80mm x 60mm x 60mm
Vinco collects many trees in his local area to create these puzzles including acacia, ash, beech, cherry, elm, larch, maple, oak, pear, plum and walnut. Timber variety may vary from puzzle to puzzle unless otherwise specified. The puzzles are finished with liquid bees wax to showcase the natural color and texture of the timber.
