The object is to remove the nut from the bolt. You don’t see that many sequential discovery bolt puzzles around. No force is required. And no external tools are needed.
The solution is unexpected to an inexperienced puzzler and you’ll definitely be wondering how Ali came up with the idea to turn this seemingly ordinary looking, albeit big and heavy, bolt into a puzzle.
The machining for this bolt is done in the UK and highlights quality workmanship not often seen these days.
But we do encourage you to read the reviews because they highlight that whilst others have acknowledged the quality of the workmanship they did not think that someone who was very observant would find the puzzle difficult at all. Even though it is a sequential discovery puzzle there are very few steps.
The puzzle is designed by Ali Morris.
The puzzle is made from a grade 8.8 medium carbon steel bolt. Usually used in railway equipment, motors, engines and processing equipment, grade 8.8 bolts are a very solid and heavy piece of hardware. So even if frustration at not being able to do the puzzle takes over don’t think you’re going to be bending this one out of shape any time soon.
Of course, there is no force required to do this puzzle. And no external tools are needed to get the nut off.
Size: The bolt is 107mm long and has a diameter of 17mm
A solution is not included with the puzzle.
