Description
The object is to open this Chinese puzzle box to reveal the space inside. Once you understand how you can hide something inside to keep it safe.
This puzzle box is one of our easiest ones so it’s a great place for kids to start solving puzzle boxes.
Perhaps the box is called Long Life because it’s going to take you that long to open it. We don’t think so. But its a nice story!
But who knows how you need to arrive at the solution and if you will have the blessing of Long Life and the solution to how to open the puzzle box just pop into your head or will you have to really think about this one to understand how it works.
There are many legends about Long Life in China. One is that the oldest man in history was a Chinese man named Li Ching-Yuen, a martial art expert and a herbalist. His date of birth is disputed; either 1677 or 1736 and he died in 1933, making him either 190 or 256 years old. Both unbelievable! But the story was published in the New York Times so who knows – it could be true.
The puzzle box is made from wood and stained this colour with engraved writing on the side.
Size: 151mm x 80mm x 55mm
Size inside: 105mm x 60mm 30mm
