Edward Hordern Puzzle Exchange – Gold Coast, Australia, August 2007
Presented by Laurie Brokenshire. Made by Václav Obšívac. Designed by Václav Obšívac.
Difficulty 5/5+ The puzzle is to assemble the six differently shaped pieces into this very complex interlocking burr.
This puzzle is one of the hardest that Vinco has ever invented and because of the way it has to be assembled it is not possible to solve this puzzle using a computer program.
We’re very lucky here at Mr Puzzle that we’ve been friends with Vinco for many years now. We’ve visited him in the Czech Republic and seen how he gathers the different woods from trees being replaced in local orchards, stores and dries it until it’s ready to make puzzles out of. A truly sustainable business right from the start. Vinco truly loves making puzzles and you can see that in the care and attention to detail in every puzzle he produces. We’re very proud to sell his puzzles at Mr Puzzle.
Size: 55mm x 55mm x 55mm Wood – Elm. The puzzles are finished with liquid beeswax to showcase the natural colour and texture of the wood.
