Description

Edward Hordern IPP Puzzle Exchange – Paris, France in August 2017
Designed by Junichi Yananose. Presented by Rosemary Howbrigg. Made by Mr Puzzle.

The puzzle is to disassemble and reassemble the 8 piece interlocking burr.

The clear pieces add another element of difficulty because its difficult to get your bearings when doing the puzzle; its often difficult to see exactly which piece your working with. Strange, considering that they are clear which means you can see everything!

Burr Tools solution show this as a level 12-5-3-2-1-1-2 burr.

The printed solution shows 26 distinct lineal moves to put the puzzle together but that understates it a bit because in some of these steps more than one piece will move at the same time.  There are legal rotational moves that can reduce these steps but you must not use any force to rotate a piece;  if you force acrylic pieces they will break, they are not flexible.

Size:  The Eiffel Tower is 135mm tall and the base is 60mm square.
The puzzle is packaged in a sold cardboard box with a step by step printed solution is included.
