Hanayama Difficulty Level 3
Launched back in 1983 the Star puzzle has been in the range all this time. Recently revamped to the new Huzzle packaging puzzlers are still enjoying the challenge of separating the star from the circle of the snake.
The puzzle was called the Star and Snake back then and introduced to Hanayama by Nob Yoshigahara who had one of the largest puzzle collections in the world. Nob had purchases many different metal puzzles from the flea markets in the UK and most date back to about the end of the 19th century when there was a huge puzzle craze going on there.
Solidly cast this is one that even if you are tempted to it would be pretty hard to force. Force is never required to take a Hanayama puzzle apart.
Size: The circle of the snake is about 78mm mm in diameter.
The puzzle now comes in the new Hanayama Huzzle packaging graded by colour. Green is the colour for Level 3 puzzles.
Hanayama puzzles come packaged with a printed solution. This is the genuine solution supplied by Hanayama, not offered as standard by other sellers.
