Hanayama Difficulty Level 5 – Very hard
This is the second puzzle ring in the Hanayama collection.
The five separate rings can be taken apart and put back together again to form a very large ring. The ring is a puzzle, not meant to be worn as jewellery. The diameter is 30mm.
This puzzle has 5 rings, like the Olympic rings, and like the Olympic rings, it will stand the test of time. This 5 interlinked rings is the basic concept of the puzzle. This type of ring puzzle goes back at least as far as the 15th century and is now remade with modern technology. Why not give it a go?
This version of the puzzle ring has been modified from José Grant’s (Born 1908 – Dec. 2010) original to make it even more difficult. José Grant made some of the most innovative and beautiful, not to mention difficult, puzzle rings the world from his workshop in Connecticut for almost 60 years; yes, he actively made puzzle rings well into his late 90’s.
Size: The puzzle now comes in the new Hanayama Huzzle packaging graded by colour. Black is for their hardest puzzles. The box is 75mm x 115mm x 45mm
Hanayama puzzles come packaged with a printed solution. Not offered as standard by other sellers.
