This heavy iron trick lock is not just a puzzle lock;  its a fully functioning heavy duty padlock. The trick just makes it harder for thieves to get in.

This is one of seven distinctly different Indian Puzzle locks that we currently have.
They’re all fashioned out of donor locks with a trick element thrown in. Not as difficult to solve as some of the famed specially built European puzzle locks, but it’s still deceiving and at a great price!

For thousands of years, we’ve used locks to protect our property from clever thieves. The earliest known lock that could open with a key was found at the palace of Khorsabad in Iraq and thought to date from about 2000 BC.
As well as making locks heavy and strong, adding puzzle features to locks such as false or hidden keyholes is a natural way to provide additional security.

Materials: This lock is made from a brass interior and heavy iron outside that has a shiny finish. The lock is not chrome so in time it will tarnish with handling.  This is a standard heavy padlock made in India and the puzzle element has been added later.

Size: 105mm (from top of the shackle to the base) x 65mm x 30mm  The shackle has a diameter of 10mm

Mr Puzzle has opened and checked every lock is in good working order and has added to the package a printed solution designed and printed here. Not offered by other sellers.
