Description
The puzzle is to disassemble and reassemble the 9 piece interlocking burr. Once complete the rounded lighter pieces and contrasting darker straight pieces make the completed shape that looks like a flower.
This is probably one that people with lots of puzzles have seen before. It’s closely related to a chuck puzzle. So, if you don’t know what a chuck puzzle is then you probably don’t know that it has a rotational move to solve it, and so that’s not even a spoiler for you.
The Chuck is a sort of sub-set of burr puzzles which has mostly U-shaped pieces of various lengths, and some with an extra notch that is used as key pieces. It was invented back as early as 1897 but the British puzzle company Pentangle is best known for producing many different versions of the puzzle during 1970’s.
Size: 75mm x 75mm x 75mm
The puzzle is shrink-wrapped in a window faced brown card box with a printed solution inside.
