This puzzle was designed by British puzzle collector and inventor, James Dalgety, after the legend of the Ring and the Salmon, which figures on the coat of arms of Glasgow City. A time-honoured tale of jealousy and betrayal followed by forgiveness. It’s a good read.

James Dalgety is an English puzzle designer and collector from England. He is currently the owner and curator of the Puzzle Museum including the Hordern-Dalgety Puzzle Collection, one of the largest known collection of puzzles in the world numbering somewhere in the region of forty to fifty thousand items.
