Description
Hanayama Difficulty Level 6 – The hardest!
There are two goals to the Cast Nutcase created by the Dutch puzzle inventor, Oskar van Deventer.
1. Remove the small nut by disassembling the Cast Nutcase.
2. Cast puzzle enthusiasts (some call them nutcases) can enjoy trying to change the wording on the bolt from “nut-case” to “case-nut”.
The key word is: “interlocking”.
In this case, Nutcase can have a couple of meanings. The case surrounding the small nut inside the puzzle. And the way you feel when you try to solve the puzzle. A warning… this one is likely to drive you nuts!
The puzzle now comes in the new Hanayama Huzzle packaging graded by colour. Black is for their hardest Level 5 & 6 puzzles.
Box size: 75mm x 115mm x 45mm Size: The bolt is 45mm long and the nuts have a diameter of 30mm.
Our Hanayama puzzles come packaged with a printed solution. This is the genuine solution supplied by Hanayama, not offered as standard by other sellers.
Leslie –
Was easy to figure out what to do, hard to get it right, took me about 40 minutes solid to take apart and put back together, easy to memorise once you have taken it apart once or twice.
I really enjoyed the secondary challenge which added roughly another hour or so putting it together differently and then trying to get it back apart again to return it to boxed state.
Bought this as a first puzzle to see where I might be at and I am quite pleased!
