Fold the two rulers so they both fit perfectly on the board together. Modelled on an old fashioned carpenter’s folding ruler this one will be a good addition to any tradies tool belt.
The rulers will cross over each other at some points, either on top or below. There are 42 (we love that number!) holes in the board and the hinged rulers will sit in the grid neatly. If you want help try starting with the section marked 50 in one corner. Will you have the measure of this puzzle?
The puzzle is made from laser cut plywood with acrylic and shiny metal screws to hold the small ruler lengths together but allow them to rotate, twist and bend.
The box is a black plywood box with a plastic cover and wrap around label that really looks classy to give as a present. It includes a booklet about the puzzles in the Recent Toys series. The booklet is written in English, German, French and Spanish. It does not contain the solutions to the puzzles so it won’t take long to see who measures up to the challenge.
