Since 1980 the Rubik’s Cube has fascinated puzzlers. For some it’s been incredibly addictive, for most a colourful mind bending challenge! And we’re still enjoying it today.

The World Record Academy recognises Sub1, a robot created by Germany’s Albert Beer, has solved the Rubik’s cube in 0.887 seconds. This breaks the previous Guinness World Records world record of 0.9 seconds thus setting a new world record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVF_XUccMuo&feature=player_embedded
Puzzle enthusiast Tony Fisher has built a 1.56 meter, 100kg, fully functional Rubik’s cube in a bid to claim a Guinness World Record for the largest fully functional Rubik’s Cube. He hopes it will be recognised soon. Watch him solve it http://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-tech/giant-rubiks-cube/
