ThinkFun is the world’s leader in addictively fun games and puzzles that stretch and sharpen your mind. And now they’ve redesigned one of their most popular puzzle ever – Rush Hour – especially for preschoolers.
My First rush Hour is a unique matching game that helps children with color identification, shape recognition, fine motor skills and problem-solving. It uses shape and colour identification to create a new maze in every challenge. Drive the red car through the maze and out of the exit to WIN!
In the box, there are 30 different challenges over three levels of play. Box contains:
- Parking Lot Game Grid with EXIT ramp
- 1 Red Hero Car
- 6 other Vehicles including the big Yellow Bus
- 1 Safety Officer
- 15 Double-sided Challenge cards
- Instruction Card
For over 30 years, ThinkFun Inc. has been dedicated to creating games that spark curiosity, cultivate confidence, and nurture life-long learners. Its games encourage interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), while generating excitement for a world of learning through play. Innovation, creativity, value, and fun are the four elements that comprise the development of every game. Ignite the mind, and change the world for each player.
Rush Hour is a sliding block puzzle invented by Nob Yoshigahara in the 1970s. It was first sold in the United States in 1996. It is now being manufactured by ThinkFun (formerly Binary Arts). It’s a legend and has it’s very own Wikipedia page!
My First Rush Hour is designed to introduce toddlers to the evergreen Rush Hour brand, using “learn and grow leveling” to support early development.
Size: I haven’t opened the package but I can see from the front window panel that the big Yellow Bus is 90mm long and the Red Hero Car is about 25mm square so the pieces are nice and chunky for little hands.
