Hanayama Difficulty Level 4
Solve the puzzle by turning the dials on both sides (front and back) of the puzzle.
The solution requires more than just moving forward. Sometimes moving a step back is also important.
Another example of what the designer Vesa Timonen calls “mechanism to form”. The development process of this puzzle was more work than innovation for him. Vesa combined some previous ideas from his notebooks and nailed them together.
Vesa says he once calculated that for each of his puzzle designs that are on the market, there are about 20 ideas that failed at some phase of the development. Maybe he’s trying to lift that average by using some of them up. And from that, he comes up with another great new design!
Size: Presented in a view window box which is 75mm x 115mm x 45mm The triangular sides of the dial are 50mm and it is 15mm thick.
Hanayama puzzles come packaged with a printed solution. This is the genuine solution supplied by Hanayama, not offered as standard by other sellers.
