The puzzle is to stack the three Musketeers, Athos, Porthos & Aramis, joined by d’Artagnan so they are self-supporting in the frame; ie: no loose parts. You must be able to pickup the frame without touching the Musketeers, so that the Musketeers do not fall out. The puzzle was designed in 2010 by Acady Dyskin & Pantazis Houlis, both University lecturers with Engineering backgrounds from Western Australia and was judged in the TOP 10 at THE 2010 Nob Yoshigahara International Puzzle Design Competition. Pantazis is seen below accepting his award from Nick Baxter at the Awards Dinner held in July 2010 in Hakone, Japan.
The frame is made from Queensland Blackbean with Queensland Silver Ash joins. The 4 pieces are from Queensland Silver Ash, Papua New Guinean Rosewood, Western Australian Jarrah & Queensland Blackbean.
Size: 120mm x 100mm x 42mm
